The business of rice seeds accounts for 65% of our turnover . It has an excellent future and tremendous growth potential especially with the large scale adoption of Hybrid Rice Technology by the farmers to counter the stagnating yields of rice in the country . This technology is very important to India to avoid shortages and imports and become self sufficient in meeting its food requirements . Keeping the future in mind we have been investing in Research and Development since the year 2002 . The results of Research have started coming in and we have are on the verge of releasing two new hybrids and two new open pollinated varieties .
